About This Place

Located in the vibrant heart of London’s W12 district, Chop Chop Noodle Bar is a lively Chinese noodle restaurant that delivers a memorable taste of Southeast Asian and Cantonese cuisine. Whether you’re rushing in for a quick meal, ordering takeout, or craving food delivery straight to your door, this noodle shop offers an unbeatable combination of generous portions, affordable prices, and hearty flavors.

Stepping into Chop Chop is like walking into a bustling street market stall where the air is filled with the aroma of aromatic spices and sizzling woks. The atmosphere is straightforward and no-frills, keeping the focus squarely on the food itself. Don’t expect fine dining service here; instead, anticipate speedy, efficient meals crafted for people who truly love authentic, robust flavors without the fuss.

The menu is a carefully curated showcase of solid Southeast Asian and Cantonese staples. Among the favorites, the Char Kway Teow earns praise for its smoky, wok-fried noodles interwoven with tender prawns and crispy bean sprouts, while the Beef Hor Fun with Black Bean Sauce offers a rich, savory experience, though some diners note a lighter ratio of noodles to sauce. For those seeking bold local tastes, the Malaysian Fried Rice, distinctive Kway Teow, and comforting Laksa come highly recommended, perfectly paired with sides like the spicy Kangkung Belachan or flavorful green beans cooked with minced pork.

Vegetarian diners are also well catered for, with a broad selection of meat-free options that don’t skimp on taste or texture. As one regular fan, Bianca W, mentions, “Good selection of dishes as well as many vegetarian options. We really liked it.”

The portions here are generous, often leaving customers pleasantly surprised by the value. Edward Ramírez highlights this abundance: “Food is great! Really fast and very cheap. Great place if you are really hungry since portions are massive!” This sentiment echoes across reviews, making Chop Chop a dependable stop for anyone eager to fill their belly without breaking the bank.

While the service can be brisk—and at times perceived as curt—this genuine no-nonsense attitude suits the restaurant’s quick-service ethos. As Edward points out, “Service isn’t great, might seem a bit rude at times but if you are there for the food and not the experience then this is your place.” It’s clear Chop Chop’s primary ambition is to deliver solid, flavorful dishes with speed and consistency.

In essence, Chop Chop Noodle Bar is a go-to Cornerstone for noodle lovers and Asian cuisine enthusiasts looking for hearty, authentic fare in a casual setting. Its blend of big flavors, reasonable prices, and quick service makes it particularly appealing for busy locals, hungry families, and takeaway aficionados alike. Next time you find yourself near Uxbridge Road and craving a warm, satisfying bowl of noodles, let Chop Chop serve up a genuine taste of Southeast Asia and Canton with attitude and heart.

Not bad. Cheap and convenient for a quick meal with a South East Asian and Cantonese vibe to the menu. As per the pictures, the char kwei teow isn’t bad but the beef hor fun with black bean sauce has very little hor fun...

Fantastic for what it is! There's not much service to speak of, but the food and prices absolutely make up for that. Popped in here with a friend and we were very happy with our meal. Good selection of dishes as well as many gegetarian options. We really liked it.

Decent south east Asian restaurant. Huge portion with plenty of taste at a reasonable price. The Malaysian fried rice, Kway Teow or Laksa are recommended along with the Kangkung belachan or green beans with minced pork
